Fiona has co-run flute and guitar courses in a range of venues since 2001: Oxfordshire, England, the Dordogne, France and Marrakech, Morocco.

Co-organised with Julie Wright and Atarah Ben-Tovim, MBE, the highly successful, inspirational, fun and very popular Oxfordshire courses ran for five years.  Likewise, the relaxing French courses were set in idyllic surroundings with wonderful cuisine and time to soak up French culture in the local markets.

The latest course in Morocco was fabulous fun with plenty of music making, time to experience the beauty of the Atlas mountains, haggle for bargains in the souks, and relax with late night spiced tea in the old town square.

The courses cater for a wide range of ability and experience. Guitar masterclasses, technique sessions and small guitar ensembles are for guitarists alone and each guitar players is teamed with one or two flute players for the duos, depending whether the course is large or of a more intimate nature. More details on request.

In addition to running flute and guitar courses, Fiona teaches on international guitar courses during the summer. She has been a regular at the Oatridge Guitar Festival in Scotland, and this year, 2009, will be her third return to the International Festival at West Dean, Chichester.
